Make a Difference in Skipton

Are you a kind, caring person who wants to do work that really matters? We are recruiting home care assistants and senior carers to support people in Skipton and the surrounding villages to live safely and independently in their own homes.

At Dignicare, you will not be rushing from stranger to stranger. You will visit the same clients each week, getting to know their routines, their stories and what makes them smile. Whether you are starting your first role in care or bringing years of experience, we will give you the training and support to do your best work.

Working in Skipton

Skipton is a busy market town with a real sense of community, and many of the people we support have lived here all their lives. Your rounds are planned to keep travel sensible, so you spend more time with clients and less time on the road.

Who You'll Support

Much of our Skipton work is with older people who want to stay independent at home, alongside respite care that gives family carers a well earned break. From helping someone start their day to sharing a cup of tea and a chat, small moments make a big difference.

What We Offer

£13.50 to £15.20 an hour, full or part time permanent contracts and flexible hours to suit your life. You will also get an attendance bonus, company pension, employee rewards and discounts, wellbeing support, a referral bonus and free flu jabs.
